97KL Stainless.20

Finally got my last 97, the missing link. I bought it on July 28th. The holdup was my gun license expired and when they re-entered it omitting my e-mail. How serious is that.
I hope to shoot it later tomorrow. This completes all the calibres in the 97’s. Also doubles in .177 and .22 which I’ll d-tune.
i’m really looking forward to shooting this rifle. if it’s half as good as my R9.20 I just got recently I’d be real happy. Didn’t really want another blue laminate and I didn’t really want another stainless but the .20 cal. gave me tunnel vision. Crow

Scored 10 tins of JSB .20 as well.

Hi crow, Oh wow! congrats crow. I did'nt even know they made that. If you could pls post a few glamour shots if u can,, I'd like to see a closer look at your FINAL,( rolling eyes )(lol) piece in your HW 97 collection. My latest acquisition was a 97K in 22 cal. I love it. BUT I've been having some issues with scopes and day to day priorities r holding me up for now. How does that saying go? Buy once Cry once. I've also added a HW 30 and a HW 50 to my collection. The HW50 is also in 177. I need to start a thread about this HW 50. BEST TRIGGER ( EVER ! ) .

Reason. my buddy the only guy I shoot with has a 97 blue laminate stainless and an HW 80. I wanted a blue lam. so I got it with the black barrel in .177. I also wanted a stainless so I got the stainless Blackline in .22.
I’ve ordered a 97 in .20 a few Times only to be told they weren’t available during Covid. When I saw this 97 on line I couldn’t resis. Especially when I was just blown away by the performance of the R9.20 I just got. Crow

Thanks. Ironically I like the break barrels. I ended with 2 extra’s trying not to duplicate my buddies.
‘My wife asked me if that was my birthday present, I said no. I call her the “bag lady” she’s into purses and boots and clothing, can be as costly as Airgunning. Sometimes I look at her and say she’s wearing a 97. Crow

Had it for 2 days and finally got a chance to shoot this honey this evening. I grabbed the other blue lam. in .177. All I can say is wow. Same as the R9 was right from the start. After I shot maybe 40 rounds JSB’s. This is 30 yds. both are 5 shots.

I was able to score 10 more tins of JSB’s .20.

This rifle is amazing in .20, I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to playing with this one. Crow
