A 10 and 20 shot group at 190 Red Wolf 🐺 22

I originally posted these groups before there was a long range thread. We talk about consistency a lot. These were extremely fun to shoot. Obviously I had good conditions. I was shooting the 20.2 grain NSA. 

Look at the aimpoint for each each target. Right now I’m missing those conditions.

And yes, I did make a video shooting at this distance. I think some people were having trouble believing it was real.

That’s crazy accuracy. Please don’t take this anyway other than a question from someone that hardly ever shoots past 30 yards. How much of your great shooting is the gun or the shooter? 50/50??

It is the sun the moon and the stars, they all have to align. (Rifle, optic, set up, conditions, follow through, projectile)

Yandeltx, The equipment is an important part of the shooting systems. But don't be led astray, Mike is no novice, he is a phenomenal shooter! Groups like that and at that distance don't just happen.

Jaycie4, I'd like to see a picture of your "same gun" and a video of your results trying to shoot it at 190 yards

Those are outstanding groups that show incredible consistency. If Mike was shooting at a starling at 190 yards from his bench he would hit it at least 50% of the time lol. And just imagine seeing someone shoot a starling at that distance even once with a pellet gun! Mike is definitely a really good pellet gun shooter, and some of it is his pellet gun, but most of it is experience.

Come on Mike, sell me the .177 RedWolf! The .22 is so outstanding that certainly you don’t really need the .177 do you? Thanks for sharing your groups. They are inspiring.

Sorry there’s no yardage markers, you’ll have to trust me that it’s 190 yards. Here’s a video I did months ago because people were having trouble believing the groups I was posting. It’s a pretty good group.
