Tuning A Artemis/Spa/Snowpeak topic from the Dutch forum "luchtbuks.net"

Hi,

Because I had the suspicion that there had to be some more shots to get out, I went back to work with the rifle.

Since I usually shoot on the 10m track with this device I wanted to shoot as many shots as possible at a reasonable speed.
I've been busy with the hammer spring again, because in the last setting I got 10 more shots at a speed of around 227 m/s.
At 10m this can go down a bit.

So with patience (always in and apart) small pieces of the spring grinded off.

After a few small pieces off, there is 5 cm left of the standard spring which is about 6 cm

I wanted the hammer spring to be fully extended so that I always wanted a fixed position of the hammer spring

This is the final result of the grinder version: 85 shots at 199/206 m/s.

So a lot of shots with a reasonably good speed for the 10m.
Perhaps he will do it further away.

I'm happy for now!

Hi Cilami,

Thanks for your comment. No, actually I just shortened the hammer spring. To get this shotstring I had to have a lot of patience because I always had to grind very small pieces of the spring to get to that 200 m/s, every time the gun in and apart and stuff. But it worked with a completely turned-out hammer spring screw. I have not adjusted the internal regulator and it is set at 120 bar. The rifle shoots very cleanly and is frugal with air, which was exactly the intention of the tuning.

Greetings from the Netherlands, Joop.
