A bonehead mistake

It doesnt have an auto stop? Imo always get one that had an auto shut off. So doesnt matter if you forget to open the tank valve or walk away. It will shut off at the pressure you set it to. My hatsan lighting has an auto shut off. I set to 4500 psi . Go shopping and come back and it would auto purge every 10 mins and shut off at 4500 psi. It hasn't fail me yet. Also if the auto shut off did fail for whatever reason, there is also burst disc set to 5k. So it would never even go above 5k. Idk why you even have a 8k burst disc when most compressor and tank can only do 4500 psi.

No auto shut off, it has two relief valves and burst discs for safety. I have a heavy-duty Shelden compressor. It can fill the large 6000 psi cascade tanks so it's not unusual for it to have an 8k burst disc. The hose is rated for 10k psi so no real danger of damaging the compressor, just blowing the burst disc.
