A cheap, but accurate paper hole punch

I was hesitant about buying the Browning Buck Mark URX, but sorta wanted one, because I have a Browning, Buck Mark Contour, in.22 .

It's cheap, I finally figured, what the hell and bought one.

I put a SeeAll sight on it and started shooting. I'd read and watched videos that the trigger needs real help. Well, in my case, it's just the opposite from my buying the Beeman P17. My...P17 had an absolutely horrible trigger, (mostly fixed now). This little .177, break barrel pistol, while the pull is a little hard, it's smooth and breaks like glass. The only thing that I did was to open the (aluminum !) trigger blade itself, because it's way too small for my finger. I'm not even going to lighten the pull.

For a $50 pellet gun, I'm mostly amazed at the 10m accuracy. It's not got the power for anything but punching paper, but if you have kids or want something to shoot in the garage, it's well worth looking into.

If I'm not mistaken, the Buckmark is an Umarex in disguise. Browning just gets a small cut. So, if you like Umarex guns, this ought to really scratch the itch.

Yes, it is at least sold under the Umarex brand. No idea who actually makes it.

Though I do have a Walther CP99 (the one that's now over $200.00) that's sold by Umarex, no, it's not any sort of primer for other Umarex guns. But yes, the CP99 is a nicely done gun also.

Like the first line of my initial post sorta hints at, na, it was just a long coming "impulse" buy. I tend to buy more on the PCP side.

JUST got one. Right now it's in a vise. I took off the handle cover and filled that grid area with lead pellets and topped off with some JB weld. Makes for a nicer hefty feel.

And OP is right, that trigger, although a brick wall, it's predictable and crisp. shoots well and looks good.
