A couple of questions about springers.

Thanks, I purchased the rifle today HW50S in .177 cal, it should be here by late week, I'm pretty excited to get it. I went with PA because AoA was out of all three cals.
Congrats, I think you’ll be happy with that choice. Many here would pick the hw50s if we could only have one spring gun, although that is purely theoretical as most own several.

It seems like a good balance between cost and quality for my intended purposes for the rifle. I've read/watch many, many reviews/YT vids, I can't remember reading/seeing anything that I call negative about the HW50S. I'm looking forward to a hands on review, I doubt I'll be disappointed.

Got conformation today my HW50S shipped at noon, with UPS so I won't see it at my door until Monday afternoon,:( It's going to be a long weekend. On a brighter note, we had a nice sunny afternoon here for a change today and I got some target shooting with both my 95 QE and my 1000X both have settled in well and the screws have stopped loosing up every 100 shots. I'm really happy with both rifles at this point. The snow is dropping fast here now and it looks like I'll soon be able to get out with my dog and we both can get some much needed exercise and maybe pop a tree rat or two in the wild.

Thanks, I see myself shooting a LOT more cans than animals, I'm not opposed to it but when you get to feeling mortal yourself it seems killing things isn't nearly as enjoyable as it was when I was younger. Squirrels take he11 when they overtake the wife bird feeders but other than that and a walk in the woods once in a while with my dog and popping a tree rat or two, I'm just as content plinking cans an such.
I hear ya, I go for a walk and look for little things to shoot at. Mabey an empty shotgun shell casing, a nut laying on the ground, pop can tabs and lots of other trash that people leave laying about!! Practising on small targets will make you a much better shot overall !!
