A good mini tripod for the FX Chrono??

If you are using tripod why bother with fx chrony in the first place, just tape it under your gun?

If you want something to mount the fx chronograph to other than the barrel any inexpensive tripod will work. The important thing is to keep the fx aligned with the barrel and only slightly below. Lots of cheap flexible low table tops to choose from it will not need to be heavy duty or even really sturdy.

Wouldn't mounting it to your barrel mess with the harmonics and after you remove it your POI will be different??

Also just preference, I prefer it on a tripod

Yea I certainly wasn't going to get anything more than $25 or so. Just wondering if anyone found a good one on amazon or something

Just get a little, cheap one on Amazon. They work great, I don’t like mounting anything from my barrel so this is a great option. I stole it from my son Cooper because he wasn’t using it but it was only $12. Have a good one.

If u take the bracket off to mount it on your barrel, is there a screw/female thread underneat there?
