How would compare the loudness to say, a stock Marauder in .22? Assuming you have handled a Marauder that is.

I can answer that, The Veteran 2 is about 1/2 as loud as the Marauder F/T .
Even with the de-pinger in the Marauder and a moderator....

Very similar...........................now remember that a stock Marauder in .22 might produce 30 to 32 ft lbs of power whereas this Tiapan is putting out almost 50.....
