It’s interesting to see the RAW come out as most recommended…I didn’t know anything about them until I was traveling for work and decided to do a guided iguana hunt in Florida. I didn’t plan for it and didn’t have any of my own gear with me, almost bought a Notos and pump there but decided to spend the money on a guide. I used his RAW chassis .22 with Arken 5-25 off Two Bros tripod, he said he had owned multiple FX’s but felt the RAW was more durable and reliable for field use, and then I watched a YouTube video about current production and that they all get tested and nothing leaves the factory that won’t shoot 3/4” or better. Even new that rifle with Arken is less than $2500, it was just a little big for me(with moderator too), I’m a huge fan of bull pups but I sure do want a RAW and if I could only have one gun I wouldn’t be too upset if it was a RAW. I don’t know why they don’t run higher pressure bottles for more power and/or higher shot count but iguana hunting was pretty fast and furious and I didn’t actually find it lacking for either, so they seem to know what they’re doing. For what it’s worth, the guide also provides a RAW micro hunter with Arken 1-8 for finishing/close shots. Although I don’t have one yet, I expect I’ll end up with a RAW or two before I’m done…
