Theoben A Lazy Day Out With the Theobens

I can do you one better and just mail you one. I had to buy them in a 10 pack and have some spares. Grub screws too.
Are the screws BA thread? Basically obsolete, I don't know why Theoben used that other than to be exclusive and confound tinkerers. You won't find it at the hardware store.
BSA prewar rifles also used a proprietary thread. I've made a lot of screws for them on the lathe but never made a tap for internal threads. Haven't had to. Yet.

It was just a regular, run of the mill M4 grub screw. Nothing special. I got a full set of various sizes on Amazon for like $15

There is a wonderful Scirocco on eBay now from a trusted seller that I hope will be my second one.
Nice! A .22 SLR 98 popped up last night as well. I would have missed it had a friend not sent me the link. Long story short, she arrives Thursday so it looks like I now HAVE to make another range trip next weekend. Darn shame lol

I don't get it. If you want it why are you inviting people to the party?
So many times I've bid on auctions hoping nobody spills the beans on an airgun forum.
I already have 3 Siroccos. One since 1988. They're great guns. One .177 running 16 ft lbs and very accurate. Same size and weight as an HW95.

I need another air gun like I need a hole in the head:):)

Harrisburg's about a 4 hour, mostly lovely, drive south for me (lovely except for the hateful 260 mile Shamokin Dam Selinsgrove stretch, I mean). Been a few days this summer when I might have made the drive for an AC'd indoor range, especially if your trio of Theoben's were there to be seen. I'm afraid I'm starting to develop one of those itches that usually ends with me buying something not strictly essential. All 3 of your rifles are pretty amazing looking, but the Scirocco is singing a sort of siren song . . . .

The more the merrier good sir. I have a pretty relaxed definition of "essential" haha. They way I see it, if I don't really need the money for something else, may as well get a toy. If I ever need the cash it's not like they can't be sold off pretty quickly. Sure, a savings account grows a bit more interest but it's hard to put a value on smiles. That's my BS justification 😆

I'm probably going back to this weekend. Got a new Theoben yesterday I want (NEED) to play with.

Every day on my way home from work I stopped at the local park to toss a quarter in the well, wishing to one day find one. A million days came and went when out of the blue I recieved a message from a buddy saying "CHECK THIS DEAL OUT".

Well, my good sir, I checked it out and immediately messaged him back asking if he was buying it. When he said "no" my finger which was already hovering above the Buy Now button dropped and it twas mine at last.
