I have been rather busy getting guns done for customers and have had little time for my own. Friday afternoon I got the last "free" gun I am working on and had it done and just waiting on the regulator by late Friday night. After screwing up my syn stock for my bottled .30 marauder, I spent yesterday cutting up a new stock and got a really nice fit that I was happy about.


I have been wanting to do some work to my high power .25 marauder and I spent some time today making some changes. This gun was setup to shoot 43gr eunjin pellets at 840 fps for 8 shots at 2% ES but could get 12 shots at 4%. I did some valve work, changed hammer springs, made a custom TP, and opened up the barrel port. Put it all back together and the little changes added up for a decent gain. 853fps avg with 43gr eunjins. 8 shots at 1% ES and 12 shots at 2%.
 
My little 14x14 gunshop started life in the late 1800's as a smoke house. When my wife and I bought this house, we had planned to tear down the old smoke house. It was covered in old tongue and groove siding and looked rather sad. After a couple of years of doing nothing with it. I decided to tear it down. I went out to start to ripping it apart, but found that it was all pegged together native oak and about as solid built as you could ask for. Ended up fixing and recoating the old steel roof, vinyl sided it and hung a new door. Insulated the hell out of it and used osb for the walls and ceiling. Insulated the ceiling and made a full floored attic above. Under all the dirt I actually found an old concrete floor as well. I keep it heated all winter and makes for a nice little cozy gun shop. I do keep some other machinery and tools in my garage as the little old smoke house doesn't have alot of room.

Please can you tell us what's involved in replacing the Marauder air cylinder with a bottle?

I've had an interest for a while in replacing the air cylinder on my Cricket with a titanium or carbon fiber one but it is not a mod that anyone seems to offer. I assumed it would be a case of building the right thread adapter. Is that what you did or did the bottle have the correct sized threads already?

I love seeing custom jobs like this. Thanks for sharing!
