A little testing of my old falcon

i have had a falcon FN19 that I picked up for £100 including an old tasco 4.5-14 scope for about 5 years now in .177 sub 12ftlb. Before I got my FAC I used it to knock over many rabbits and it did a great job of hunting out to about 45 yards or so.

After i I got my FAC I neglected it terribly and haven't shot it much at all. I decided tonight was her lucky night, gassed her up, stuck a cheap-ish 6-24 x scope on top and tested her at 55 yards. I was amazed that I was able to keep 10 pellets inside an inch, let alone managing to keep 8 of them inside half an inch!! Not bad for a single stage, slightly stiff trigger and a 20+ year old gun that doesn't know the meaning of love!

i figured that I must be able to hit a spinner at 75-80 yards if I tried. Thanks to chair gun I managed to whack a 1" spinner 4/5 times and a 15mm spinner 3/5 times at 75-80 yards (not lasered, just guessed from knowing my property)

i will put a target pic up when I get chance.

Nice to see someone who appreciates the good ole rigs. "slightly stiff trigger" does'nt make since to me but. They were fine rig's and IMO the older the better. The ball bearing sear match grade trigger was really outstanding. I used to have the "Beeman" ( might be another parts source?) labeled Titan MPT, just an outstanding rig all the way around.
Really lifts me to see a post about a fine airgun that's old enough to vote.
