Now this is not a recognized staple of this platform, but I felt it should be known anyway. I recently obtained a vet 2 in 22 cal. Well we all know the high power capabilities with this gun as it’s often mentioned. My post regards low power performance, particularly shot count. I tuned the gun down to 18 FPE, or about 715 FPS with 16g pellets which includes diabolos, polymags, and atomics/ hades. From a 240 bar fill, I got 145 shots on that single fill down to 120 bar. Seems remarkable to me. High power stock was 40 shots at 45 FPE with 25.4g redesigns going 895 FPS. Gun may be heavy to walk around with. However, seems quite versatile.

just think if you tuned it to <12 FPE like a real pellet gun .

I've had a Vet Short set for just under 20fpe since 2018.

In that power setting it has fired 14, 500ct tins worth of JSB .22/13.43 and 19 tins of the .20/13.73. And I've immensely enjoyed every trigger pull.

Something like 100-120 shots per fill.
