I found the video on YouTube and it would appear that the legs are no longer sold. ☹️

Rugged Buddy was the name of the company that sold them. They were also available on Amazon at one time. I can't seem to be able to find a set.

drummers stool
Absolutely - we had a whole thread on just B Rest chairs last year. I think it was called the missing link?

Great thread with lots of great pictures, this is my favorite. I call it the John Deere because of the color:)
The color scheme was just what i had on hand when i built my first eddition of this table this is my 4th or 5th table ive built like this and ive just kept the colors

great design
Table was designed to be able to be taken down and packed in truck..there were 5 of us and gear for 5 days of hunting prarie dogs in western north dakota. So 5 tables and gear in truck. Table takes 10 min to set up with a 9/16 wrench. Provides a stable shooting platform with cross braces. Turn seat aroung a move all the way up and top is weatherproof.

All pieces cut, power washed, and resting in the living room near the woodburner for the next month or two till nice and dry.

All the pieces have dried since Nov in my living room. Laying them together and getting it put together. More to cut, fasten, stain, and polyurethane.

Don't mind the wall in the background, taking the trim and molding off to install new cedar walls as soon as I finish the "portable" bench.

I sometimes use a Costco Lifetime folding table, but more recently I have mostly been shooting with a Bog Deathgrip tripod with a 55mm ball head on it. I've done some shooting using two tripods with one supporting the rear of the rifle as well. It's extremely stable that way, but trying to center the crosshairs perfectly by aligning a tripod is slow and fiddly and I usually end up putting my hand between the rear tripod and the stock and use the tripod to stabilize my hand. It's not as good as a proper bench rest, but it's pretty close and the tripods are small and compact and easy to transport.

I don’t have any pictures of my current set up, but here’s an old one before I added the ball head to it.

My bench was built from wood that was tossed, which I grabbed, and built an easy to transport quik shooting table. It is currently resting on an old keyboard rack. It is rickidy, and as sensitive as a sizmograph. 😁
I have been playing with the idea of doing three legs for a more firm base, and the key board stand gets in the way.
Good ideas flowing here. 👍
