You have a beautiful rifle there. I feel that way about my HW30. Pick it up any time and it just shoots right where it should.

Thai IS a nice stock!!! I couldn't tell you the last time I shot with open sights...becoming a lost art...lost to me a anyway!

Thanks for entertaining my post guys. With all the other springs and pcps in the safe, this is the one I reach for always, right about 5p every afternoon that brings back the nostalgia around my M1A and the revolvers... but without the big bang/boom, lol, or having to hit the range. Just pure satisfaction in the hands (love the stippling on the stock) along with every shot.

Aye Twinkees_n_Ph the pure joy of holding such a time machine transports one back in time when for a simple rifleman iron sights was the normal. My small M1A1 collection is indeed a very humbling experience bringing forth a simple satisfaction and nostalgia for their patriotic long past former holders.

Beautiful rifle! Out of all the laminate stocks, that one is my favorite. Wish they would offer it more often.

The factory rear blade was always too far back for me, and I never could warm up to it.
Also, just an FYI in case you weren't aware, you can remove the front sight and slide on a regular Weihrauch globe like fitted on their other rifles. You could put it into full blown 10M rifle mode in a jiffy.
Anyway, just rambling from another guy who loves an iron sighted 77K.

If you like the irons, you may consider putting a simple aperture sight at the rear. It works great.

That's a beaut. Thanks for the suggestion. I have a Williams aperture sight coming for my crosman 1701P; may used it on my HW75 also. We'll see how all that works. Somewhat new to me. But will def see if it fits/work on thks 77K. By the way, what aperture sight is that you have there? Any you'd highly recommend?

Gonna give this a go today after some chores... my day off/no kids/no wife home; gots me a 10meter line and lots of pellets. Looks to be lots of fun. Lol.

@Twinkees_n_Pb it's a Williams Guide Sight. WGRS-54 I believe. They are usually too low for a globe sight, but that one worked well with the factory front blade. They are a "set and forget" type sight and much more low profile and robust than the typical Williams with target knobs and stuff. And cheaper.
