I decided to try a little experiment using the JSB supposed match S100 wadcutters. I shot several mags from the HW44 and the groups were ho-hum. OK, but not what I am used to with this pistol. So I tried my Diana Airbug to see if the pellets are at fault. There was no conclusion because the Diana is such a poor performer. It might be ok for plinking soda cans on the lawn, but it’s not a bench pistol. So I went back to the H&N Baracuda FT 9.57 just to reconfirm there is nothing wrong with the HW44. The groups below attest to the fact that this combination is hard to beat.
