A thought on slug guns vs. pellet guns

I’m a hunter and use my home poured bullets to take game. That is why I tend to go for the bigger caliber air guns, as they seem to shoot home pours well. Have a few of the NOE pellet molds also, but as MrP stated they are difficult to get perfect pours from. Now I’m working on perfecting my methods for pouring.P

Thank you all for your comments. You definitely gave me some food for thought. I mainly wanted the large bore to shoot but also to clean out some deer in my neighborhood, they are in hurds. and are destroying the landscaping I live in a subdivision, the homes are spread out and the property is heavily wooded but it is not safe to take deer without endangering anyone or getting folks stirred up with rifle shots. Do any of the manufacturers offer a rifle with barrels and actions that can be swapped out so I could shoot a smaller caliber pellets cheaply and swap up to a large bore for hunting?

FX M3 Impact is the gun you are looking for. The caliber range is .22 up to .35. You may want to purchase a .35 and leave it setup for deer. While the barrel kit and pellet probes are interchangeable I've heard they do a few extras to the .35 guns, not sure if it's true or not. The also have an 800 MM barrel. .22, .25, .30 and .35 guns can be caliber swapped and re-tuned in a matter of minutes. I would think a .30 caliber would take down deer with no problem though.
