A V compressor blowing tripping outlet

so went to fill my ** tank WITH my 8 month old AV compressor and tripped the wall outlet ,funny thing happened ,i store my cord down in side the side openning where the handle is,,and low and behold when i retrived it ,,there was 2 of them a heavy and lighter corded one ,,whats this tthe water pump comes on fine but the second it hit 60degrees celsius she tripped ,so now im going to take it apart to make sure the extra cord not extra and change oil and water this unit been used less than 10 times ANY THOUGHTS please post PAT

The compressor pulls 11 amps so if you are on a 15amp breaker and have other things plugged in to the circuit you my need to use a different circuit or unplug something from the circuit

thanks ill check there is a ac plugged into the outlet and i shut it down before energizing the compressor

Connection came loose for water pump? Fan connection is good to go because you can here it running. Check water reservoir to ensue water is flowing.

Hynzie, i agree with the other guy about the a/c being on or something else being used on same breaker. I have one also. Im a little confused by your post though. Did you find another plug/wire in your compressor?? When it tripped, do you mean the compressor shut off or did your house breaker trip? One more question what temp does your compressor usually go to when filling a 4500 psi tank? Mine goes to about 73 celsius.

it tripped at 60 c exactly ,,,when i turned on the compressor i shut the ac off first so the av would be the only draw ,,,i store my cord in thhhhhrough the top handle so it slides in the jacket of the compressor this time when i retrived it there was a heavy and light duty cord in there ,,no idea where the extre cord is from

Is the extra cord attached to anything? Does it have a plug end on it?

Ok Hynzie i took my compressor apart and took some photos if I can upload them. I dont see any other power cord of any type inside the machine. The only other wires are covered in a white sheath to protect them from heat and vibration. Nothing that looks like a power cord. (Maybe your wife stuffed something in there thinking it was for the compressor) Also you never answered me about the compressor tripping or your house breaker? Im trying to help but need more info. Hope this helps. Let me know.
