Air Arms AA Prosport owners…

yes, I definitely still have a lot to learn about my two springers. I’m pretty sure @Sqwirl57, has been working working on my TX, since I’ve seen some videos about making guides. So it looks like I will be taking another vacation to Crazytown again in the near future! Can’t wait! 😁
Looks what showed up today….it’s got some nice
grain in it.

Gonna try and chrony it tonight.

Thanks man. Thing is a beast to cock compared to my 97K…lol. Learning curve.
I think when I first got mine, while I was sitting I would pull the lever out with my left, then switch to my right was able to pull it down the rest of the way. Then move it back and hold it down with my left while I loaded a pellet. Then after a while I noticed I was just using my left arm all the time.
So if by some chance you decide This Experience isn’t for you, I would like to take this opportunity to call Dibbs! 😁😁😁

Thats my only complaint with that gun. It will be easier once you get used to it though. Watch your non cocking hand. I know of a few guys who have pinched themselves with the underlever when they first got it.
It seems a little dry inside, eventually I will tear it apart and go thru everything and relube it with Krytox. I’ll know more once it chronied, but it seems pretty strong right now.

😂 I’m left handed so I’ll cock it with my left just as I do with the 97K.

Not too shabby at all. I have to ask though.... WHO BUYS A PRO SPORT AND DOESNT HAVE A SCOPE READY TO GO THE SECOND IT COMES IN???
Obviously me…lol. Sold my Tract Toric to fund this rifle and that was the last loose scope I had.
I got a Athlon midas tac heading my way, hopefully it will sufice. I just took my cheap UTG pic rail of my 77K and was trying to spread it to fit the prosport dovetail and the dang screws stripped in the aluminum thread out.😤 So looks like I need to get one of those too.

Yeah I found those UTG adapters are really only couple use deals too. I just leave them on the gun and buy a new one now. You'll like that Midas. I've never had an Athlon that I didn't like
Best thing would be to have those steel thread inserts in them so you wouldn’t have to worry about stripping the aluminum threads out. I got a new one coming, hopefully I can get it mounted without tearing up..lol.
