Tuning AA S200 issue

Air Arms S200 issue. Loaned my neighbor my AA S200. He said he shot and pellet didn’t exit barrel. With a monofilament he found that The pellet was stuck about 1.5” into the barrel. There’s no gauge on the gun. I added air and heard a leak. I looked and he had the “bolt “ open/ gun was cocked. I stopped filling the rifle, closed the bolt and then shot it in the air. The pellet exited. There was still a leak so I unscrewed the tank. Still leaking. I screwed the tank back on to the action. No leak. 

This was strange and I’m not sure where to get started finding out what the issue is. Any ideas?

No expert, but I had an S200 for a couple years. Could be the O-ring between the tank and the receiver block-might have been jarred loose then resealed when the tank was screwed back on?

Screw the air tube out and inspect o-ring. Add a smig of lube and hand tightness will do.

took off the tank and added air leaking between end cap and tube

The end was very tight. I used a split shaft collar and had the wood for a rebarrel on powder burner. The seal is brittle and can apart. Anyone know the size of O-ring?

I measured 20.87 mm and measured the old O-ring at ~2.5 mm.

Does anyone know the size O-ring I need for the end of tank to seal?

Wow, I guess out of all the people on this forum nobody knows the size of the oring. Amazing.
