AAFTA news! 3/21/22

Hello AAFTA Clubs!

Spring is here and the Field Target season is in full swing (for most of us)! Multiple GP events have already taken place with more coming up soon.

A big shout out to Garrett Kwakkestein and his team for hosting another great Sonoran Desert GP in Phoenix AZ! Congratulations to Lauren Parsons, Jim Poh, Sandy Corcorran, Ron Jobbes, and Kent Gladden for taking top spots in that event!

Next up is the Cajun Spring Classic April 8-10 in Baton Rouge, LA. There is still time to sign up and register HERE. The Bayou Airgun Club always puts on a great GP and it’s sure to be a memorable event! Try some gator while you are there!

Then it will be time for the Carolina Classic May 13-15 in Pleasant Hill NC. This GP offers two unique field and wooded courses that’s always a fun challenge! I hear the event will be catered this year, new target colors and possibly a group visit to a local distillery one evening. You can check out the info and register HERE for the Carolina Classic GP.

Last and definitely not least…

Registration is NOW OPEN for the 2022 AAFTA FIELD TARGET NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in Puerto Rico. This promises to be a great finale to the season in a tropical island setting with some great Field Target shooting! You can get more info and register HERE.

More news and GPs to come! Please share this message with your club members and encourage them to participate in these great shooting events. As always you can check out upcoming events and other info at aafta.org

See you on the range!

Sincerely,

Philip Hepler

We are waiting for match directors to submit their official results via the web site sot the list is incomplete at this time. Thanks for asking!
