We have two pieces of business to take care of- BOG member nominations, and hosting for the 2023 National Championship!
It is that time of year where we ask for nominations for the Board of Governors.
The BOG is responsible for the business affairs of AAFTA and regulates the rules and guidelines of the organization. These volunteers play a key role in maintaining and growing the sport of Field Target in the US. BOG members serve three year terms and meet multiple times a year virtually. We currently have two slots to fill- I am at the end of my 3 year term, and the seat formerly held by Curt Hathaway, currently held by Garrett Kwakkesten as interim.
We need your nominations to continue this work! CLUB REPRESENTATIVES can nominate as many quality candidates who are willing to serve as you wish. Please do so by 9/2/22 so we can send out ballots to clubs in good standing and instructions for casting votes. Please email you nominations to: [email protected]. If you are interested in serving on the BOG, please contact your local AAFTA club representative.
Interested in hosting the National Championship in 2023?
Please let us know if your club would like to host Nats! AAFTA has really stepped up their supporting role to help promote and gather sponsors for our National Championship. We want to work with your club to make it a great event and help the sport grow! NOW IS THE TIME to let us know about your interest. It is a great way to bring attention to your club and what it has to offer!
