Tuning About the ballistic by daystate wolf hp

You may be possibly clipping.

First try unscrewing the 2 set screws for the shroud unscrew and pull the shroud out and check the shroud mounting bushing is secured tight then reinstall shroud and set screws tight. Screw on LDC then shoot with and without.

If still 40cm off difference then...

Try screwing LDC on all the way then put a piece of tape to mark the 12o clock position then remove the Ronin and using a thin washer to shim it out to index the LDC in a different position preferably pointing in the 6o clock position or close when done.

Also take notice if the LDC is wobbly as you screw it on as well by deliberately wiggling it as you thread it in. Not perfect threads can cause clipping too and thicker yellow gas sealing Teflon tape helps.

Agree that this seems like way too much. On the Red Wolf, the different mods I tried were only different by a few inches. On my old impact, heavier mods could cause as much as a 6” drop, but I haven’t seen that much with the Red Wolf. The weight of the Ronin pulling the barrel down even more is the one reason I have never tried it.

Yes i thought it was too much not about the weight of the Ronin silencer. Still looking for the way to turn the wolf airgun

Odoyle’s comment about clipping definitely seems more likely that just weight.

What did you mean by looking for a way to turn? Did you mean tune? If tuning, the Helliboard is the way to go. He has done a great job carefully setting up 12 presets and then you always can still change some of them similar to the Daystate tuner. The Red Wolf became a much better rifle across more ammo options once I did that.
