It seems that one would catch a lot of glare from the front sight blade, or am I mistaken on that?

Sheridan About the Silver Streak front sight

The front sight on a Silver Streak can be an advantage or disadvantage. Depending on the lighting. Just like a blackened sight is. On a dark target it’s an advantage. Opposite of a black one. I as a whole prefer the silver one. The newer model Sheridan/Benjamin have a serration on them and they are more robust. Making them even nicer.

My Silver Streak actually had orange paint on it from a prior owner when I got it. I took it off figuring I could always put it or whatever other color I might want back on it later if it became an issue.

I have never shot a Silver Streak myself, and had in my mind that I could just blacken the face of the blade if it was an issue.
I asked, because there are some clever thinkers here, and wanted to see what workarounds had been implemented.

poor eyes here i used a shiny silver metallic tape (used in duct work) . cut a sliver thin piece to put on the front sight post .
