I pulled out my HW90’s. I have a .20 and .25 cal.
First of all I have to thank 2 members. Froggy for posting his HW90 .22 cal in What springer did you shoot today. He was raving about his, and the wonder begins. And Jayjay, if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have the .20. My first gun was the HW90 .25 (my mentor was into cannons). I hated that gun. Took two of me to jack it, the trigger was insane. And it’s a brick.
So I’m reading this forum and Jayjay did a post, that was second to none. Way over my head but interesting, he made ithe 90 sound so good, I bought another 90, a gun I hated, plus I bought the gauge and pump. I’ve had it a year and today blew the dust off them . They were both at 22 bars and I lowered them both to 18 before I stepped out. I started with the 25, zeroed it in. It was all over. Then I realized my stockscrews were loose. Have to try later. This is the 25.
I have a HW97 and a R9 both in .20, they’re both worthy. The HW90 .20 fits in perfectl. I should get slapped for letting this sleep so long. Man once zeroed in jackpot. What’s with the .20 cal.? Seems to bring out the best in a gun.
This is the .20. I like the checkering on this one better.
The 90’s have a different sound, almost like a smacking sound. Definitely going to play around with the pump and gauge with the crony. Awesome gun. Crow
