Acquired holy grail number 2.

Few weeks ago I scored an evol mini , loved it so much.....

...that...

...This showed up at work today

Peri and I took it out this afternoon to zero and test.

The opened up group is h&n 23 gr .218, this could be competitive in prs, that group is 75 yards , 9 rounds.

The small group were monster redesigns at 50 yards for 2 mags, i didn't even bother shooting further after that, peri was getting restless and she hadn't eaten yet.

I'm gunna do a whole bunch more testing.

This rifle is just as disgustingly sick as the mini, far lighter than it looks and aside from the grip which I hate, it's very easy to shoot.

I have been bit by the evol bug and I can only wonder what's up from here ? 🤔

Very nice. Love my 15” EVOL.

Do you think you’d use that gun at NAC next year? I’m starting the work into shooting my 15” in hopes of attending.

If I can find the sweet spot for slugs you betcha, that's the goal man. These evols are just, ugh, they're too awesome.

@CTairgunner1288, slow down mister. At this rate if, and when you also score a Paradigm? Then you’ll be set for life with Airguns. Living vicariously through your PCP journey… Kudos to you.
As you know I've tried a lot of rifles, there's a handful that truly stand out as winners in my book but these evols are just next level.

I'm lucky this sport has bit me and to date, I really have no regrets. The people I've met, things I've learned, experiences I've had... awesome

oh and here is the big and little

Which is why I’ve followed your posts, you have gone through quite a few PCPs. I’ve read some of your insights and see where your PCP journey has led. To, two, solid, lifetime PCPs, which you can hand down to the next generation.

I would really like to find this rifles slug of choice though, right now my panthera is my PRS rifle and I am in the process of making it my own but if I can get this evol set up with slugs, boom its my PRS rifle then.
Yeah would be nice to dial it in with slugs for sure. And how rugged they are would be nice for PRS

Try some of the lighter slugs to see what it likes. In the Paradigm I have tried the Javelin range; 23gr, 26gr, 30gr, 34gr, and 40gr, and have found that the 23 and 26 grain slugs worked great at 50 yards. I have some Zan's to try as well as a few others as well. But so far not to disappointing.

The H&N proved to be accurate "enough" for prs at least at 75, with that said I really wanna figure out what barrel is in this HPS as I do believe its different from yours. I am going to stick to the lighter weight slugs to test.
Looking forward to a contrasting of the Panthera vs. the Evol.
My panthera is going through some "making it my own" changes as I just could not get comfortable behind the rear bottle design, I don't want to post any pictures of how it sits now to spoil it but it is going to be wild. That rifle is definitely the milk mans child in the fx clan and completely shocked me.
