Activated Charcoal

Can I just fill one of my Yong Heng filters with activated charcoal (after rinsing and drying to one of my output water/ Oil seperator filter like this below?

Not recommended, you need to encapsulate and also that amount of charcoal will do not much.

If you wanted to used charcoal. I recommend use this. This is what I uses on my compressor. Works better than the god filter with white cotton. And it's $68 shipped to the USA.
