I hate synthetic stocks , especially during the humid summers here on long island . Here's a neat trick I found a few years back on my m-rod (just did my p-rod in brown) that helped keep a comfortable grip on it .
I sanded down the stock with 220 sand paper removing all the casting marks and "stock" texture. Primed with rust-oleum ultracover white primer (made for plastic) , painted with rust-oleum multicolor textured paint .
The finish feels like light sand paper and works amazing even when im sweating or if it's damp out .
