Tuning Added a Huma reg to my Daystate Hunts

The oring on the very back of the Huma reg that seals against the receiver must be perfectly sealed to prevent air from coming out of the "thread gap." I just did this on my .177 and it leaked when I went to fill it. I left the fill valve on and moved the cylinder around a bit (threads are loose fitting) and it sealed up. Once there is enough pressure in the tube, it will create a strong seal.
If you're using a hand pump for the initial "seating fill," you may struggle unless everything is perfectly lined up.

I had Huntsman lose pressure from storage, and pumping resulted in air escaping through the barrel. I only have a hand pump. I reseated the valve by cocking the hammer and dropping about a foot butt first on the floor. Sealed and filled right up.
I too am a fan of the scientific method

Update: so filled up a paintball tank to try and give it a buratbof air tobseat the reg against the bottom of the air tube. It was still leaking slightly once all aired up. I fired a few groups just to see if that would help. Reg is at 130 bar

Super consistant over 5 shot groups. I am just hoping that it sealed itself while testing. Only time will tell.
