Sheridan Added another one, to the herd

I added another Sheridan model A, to my collection. These are my favorite American made air rifles. This one wasn’t pumping up, but I went over to UJ’s house, last Saturday, and we

put a pump cup in it. She’s good as new. She’s shooting around 650 fps, with 8 pumps.

Yes, bolt action single shot, 20 caliber. They’re great shooters!

Since it’s a early model A, it would be 1947.

1952 is probably about right. My friend UJ, is more of an expert on these, than I am.

The Sheridan rifles are the best multi-pumper out there. I was lucky enough to find a 1974 Blue Streak and I consider myself lucky to have found it. They were all .20 calibers. Nothing out there manufactured today that can touch a Sheridan.

Considering it's age and the fact that in America airguns are often regarded as toys and treated as such, makes yours all the more special. From your photos, it appears to be in great condition. Congrats, man. Nice old rifle!

just received two Sheridan's SS# 362570 and 215653 that brings my herd to 3 (no model A .......... yet! ) Had the chance one time about a year ago , but thought im just a shooter i will leave it for a collector .

As far as Sheridan’s go, there’s a different feel to a model A. I think if you have a chance to shoot one a few times, you might change your mind about buying one.

Nice rifle. My Blue Streak is the only one I’ve seen available lately and I like it a lot. Keep plenty of pellets on hand, sometimes they can be a little hard to find.
