Same, no shut off, cheapie. I double sided sticky taped mine to the crankcase, only place it'd work. Good enough for oil changes.

With the Velcro attachment you could just remove it from the compressor when you have just the fans running and replace it to keep track of the compressor running time.

Mine has never turned on when the fans are running when set to the lowest sensitivity option. Always runs when the pump is running - It is currently on a GX CS4 which has quite a bit less vibration than the CS3 or a Yong Heng.
