I have talked to him on the phone twice and it is a cellphone. I would like to verify the address he gave me with a name. I did ask him for specific pictures and every time they were sent right away. He has been on AGN since 2018 but only hasn't posted much and is not on the scammer list. He told me he's not on here much.

Ask him if he has an eBay account and if he does, check his feedback and message him there to confirm that it is indeed him.

yep, I did, rooted out two scammers already that were using text now for temporary phone numbers in US

Use google earth. I have and found some interesting information and backed out of a deal. Also Redfin or Zillow can help, not with a name but with the type of person you're dealing.

Redfin and Zillow don't give you anything about the current resident. Google, Spokeo, ProperlyShark. Spoke worked the best for me. But another option for you to ask for reference on this forum. If other "respected" and long time members confine that you are good to go, then you are good to go .

In Minnesota, we have the GIS, it's County orientated but you have a graphical map with all taxpayer info on it.

I second checking with your county. This will show you the actual property owner (probably won't be able to get the renters info if applicable). I used to use this a lot to identify land owners to send zoning stuff (public notices). Heck, you can even tell when they last had their septic system inspected.

I use Onx for hunting and it gives you tax address and owners name of private land.

Just checked and this service list my number as being in a large city 50 miles away. Naturally the County tax map ( harris maps is who they use) does show my correct info/address.
