Tuning Adjustment stop for Gauntlet super tune kit

So I'm working on pellet testing and tuning my PCP's. A bottled Marauder, an Air Venturi Avenger, and an Umarex Gauntlet. Since I installed a super tune kit I have a hammer spring preload adjustment. Unlike the Marauder or Avenger there is no positive stop for the adjuster. I have found that sometimes you need a precise setting. For this you need a precise repeatable starting point. So since I had almost 3 full turns before I get any additional tension. So I made one. Machine screw, some locktite. Shaping and thinning on the sander. Cleanup with some 1200 grit.

How well does it work?

my question is that the hammer spring rides on the guide shaft on the spring plate, with the adjuster pushing on the spring plate and the spring guide shaft, how much room if any is there between the hammer and the spring guide shaft, I was thinking of putting washers under the spring so the guide shaft doesn't affect the hammer pull. or maybe I'm over thinking it....😊

This is not a stock Gauntlet it had a super tune kit, so the screw pushes against an aluminum plug so you can adjust the pre tension on the hammer spring. The new hammer spring is lighter, to match the lighter Poppet. The modified nut I set up as a stop gives a repeatable positive stop for the adjustments. It's snowing here, mabe the weekend will bring the chance for more testing.
