Everyone using 30 cal moderators, does yours make enough of a difference? I’ve got an aea 30, 32” and it’s LOUD!! I’ve got it tuned to shoot 140-160+ fpe depending on slug gr. I’d like to get one but seeing as I plan to use the gun for hunting vs plinking, if it doesn’t make enough difference I may not. Definitely let me know your experience. Thank you.

It will always be loud if your projectile is traveling over 1125. I like to keep mine around 1000 or below for best results. If you want to keep the power just get a heavier bullet to slow it down.
Yeah, none of what i'm using is going past 1100. 61.5 i have right around 1000 and the 90's go about 870. I just don't know if buying a moderator would do much, if any.

I can't speak to a specific moderator BUT I've seen 9mm pistols suppressed subsonic which were as quiet as ANY subsonic air rifle I have ever seen (I could hear the firing pin drop). You find the right suppressor and keep the thing subsonic and you can get an unbelievable level of suppression.
