AEA AEA 95 caliber airgun 4000 FPE

I'm obviously not going to buy this thing but I figured I'd post a thread for kicks.

Does look like they will be showing off some other new guns in the next couple days. Hopefully some of them are more interesting to the average airgunner.

But gotta give them credit where it's due. By far the most powerful airgun ever created. It pretty much shoots D cell batteries.

Looks like we may have to wait until late summer or fall to watch Macabespeed be the first one to break one of these on YouTube.

You can click the link below if you want to compare AEA's "4000 FPE" to all the different power cartridges.

Basically somewhere between a .30-06 and a large bore sniper bullet. Again, credit where it's due. That's a whole lot of air for "six good shots" though.

I don't think it really matters "for the hobby". The Zeus already pushed some limits. This is just an elephant gun. Nobody is going to buy this for any purpose other than shooting elephants on a safari trip.

I read they build an even bigger collider in Europe, to yield a greater pressure. Apparently that was in anticipation of 95 caliber ZEUS air pressure needs.

Max fill pressure I could get is 6000 PSI from the Local Fire Department.
So what's the specs for 4500 PSI or 6000 PSI?
Mostly I see and call BS.
Right along with the FX Halo BS.

Almost zero cost per shot. That's assuming you capture all your projectiles and recast them. Who makes casting molds for the size projectile?
