AEA AEA AKA YAJ

The magazines carosel or star wheel becomes deformed after some jams. This will index the pellet out of alignment and cause further and increasing jamming. It is seldom one issue contributing to the gun failing. IME it is a combintion of dirt, ammo , seal failures, mags and pellet. I have mine cranked up to shoot hard. I have found slugs work much better than pellets I also found the longer the pellet or slug the better it feeds. Camfering the breech slightly may help but good mags is what you need for these guns to operate properly. Pic is a bolt from a HP Carbine and star wheel from the mag. If they are damaged or deformed you can see how they will index off center.

With that said responceibility is on the shooter for safe gun handling. For the OP's sake he better hope he doesn't damage property or someone from that gun he is compaining about. Using the gun at this point without someone who knows how to repair an airgun is neglegent. Blaming the gun as the OP is doing thread after thread only lowers value for everyone that owns one. I for one don't appreciate it.

your pictures are easy to see what is wrong.. plus firewalker explaining that they have a variable transfer port.. I didn't know that..
seems like if parts are available as someone suggested.. around $40 it shouldn't be a big deal at all to get it fixed..
also it's worrisome to continue using something that is not functioning properly.. it's too easy for someone or something to get hurt.. a $900 window is cheap compared to accidentally hurting yourself or worse..
I like where this thread is turning.. to fixing the problem and not risking safety..
if someone like firewalker starts a discussion on how he makes them run good.. please somehow let me know.. I like learning about even guns that I don't have.

The TP is the transfer port, it's the little wheel on the side with the hash marks. Straight up is wide open, 90° is as closed as you can.

The factory adjusts the gun to cycle around 2200psi but velocity is low. Most of us (ME!) open up the TP....
please let me know if you start a conversation on the gun and how you set it up to run hot.. I had no idea it had a variable transfer port.. I don't remember reading it in the advertisement..
thank you firewalker 👍

Well, I see (ok, I already knew) that I am not the only one with AEA HP SS cycling issues.

Now the dilemma: do I send it to Firewalker, or drive it over to Markhooper? :D
I think we better get together soon.. I have to weld up a thermostat housing and well it would be great to see you and hopefully do some shooting.. I'm sorry we haven't gotten together yet.. too many doctors appointments.. I'm ready for it to settle down, but going to Medford at least once a week.. that's a thought 🤔 I suppose I could get together with you on the way home and pick up the housing and gun.. pretty much anything can be fixed.. unless it's got too much electronics, then I loose it.. used to fix anything that moved but I didn't learn once cars went to computer..
well you could send it to firewalker, and I am sure he will fix it good.. however he might not weld the cast iron 🤣 plus he's in Minnesota..
been staying busy on days home trying to top off the firewood pile and the brush burning pile on the days it's not raining.. I'm getting in about 2 hours a day.. and it's just a little bit of wood 1/3 cord average each day but it's pretty much free heat..
but it's totally up to you, firewalker has experience with the gun, I'm fairly sure I can fix it.. and it's not postage to me..
got to say that I am thankful for the friends like firewalker and you and longgundallis and iamtoasty that I have made on here..
also everyone else who shares, it's great to see people helping each other..
I do wish you would have told me that you were having trouble fixing your lcs.. and needed a tool, I likely had it or it would shortly come out of the shop.. homemade 😊
I still have to get the thread protectors done for longgundallis.. it's a easy project, just between doctors visits and trying to finish getting ready for winter.. and the last time I was going to do it because it was raining, I slept all night and day.. not feeling good really messes up a good day.. hopefully it will get better soon..

please don't drive it over in that pretty blue truck and have a selection of guns in the front seat.. I don't know, but I don't want to pay to play, I might feel obligated to pay to visit with you 🤣🤣🤣 like another person I knew said that you had to pay to touch his car.. was a awesome Corvette with heads-up display on the windshield.. but I did get to see the display shine on the windshield and the rumble when it drove off..unfortunately he sold the car and I didn't get a ride 🤣🤣
but it would be awesome to see your trucks too.. I admire the one at State Farm with the Christmas tree in the back 😊😊😊😊
