AEA Challenger .30 cal 32" barrel - salty not working..

Hello guys (AEA owners)
Does anyone has an issue with the safety mechanism? Mine is moving back and forth - but it does nothing.. I have purchase brand new from Utah Airguns - made only few shots with it.

Call them and see if they have a solution that would not require returning it to them. If not, I would suggest returning it for warranty.

I know on the .45 the safety only works when cocked..
