AEA Challenger 30 cal (regulated) 32 " barrel

I recently got some 61gr slugs and they are accurate at 35 yards in my backyard. I have not had a chance to shoot them long distance yet. The regulator is the same regulator in the challenger pro version with the 100cc plenum. It came set at 170 bar.
Pardon my confusion but does the gun come regulated now or is the reg an add on?

Sold in both configurations. And yes they sell the regulator separate as well for this gun.
I understand now. When they first came out they were unregulated. My oldest son was supposed to buy the .30 challenger bullpup with a 32" barrel but he bought the .50 instead. He wishes he had got the .30 now since it's more versatile, way cheaper to shoot and has plenty of power for deer.

Sadly at this time I don't think they offer a regulator for the Big bore .457 or .50 Challenger bullpup, maybe in the near future. Keep in mind you'll get the highest FPE using a unregulated pcp, this may change in the future.

each has been 110 but i am pretty sure a 120 will fit single load. now i did put a 162 hornedy super shock.284dia fmj projectile in, dropped it backwards into the muzzleand well it provided over 300fpe , but that was an unregulated version of the gun and only the first 5 shots were that energy level. i have not gotten or figured out where the reg will get full power, and i myself dont like the energy that i experienced from central valley airgunners video of the regulated version 110fpe is a far cry from 210fpe i think it can be closer .

This is a great gun. The trigger is stiff and cocking is somewhat heavy, but man is it accurate and powerful. On max power the NSA 47.2 gr slugs go supersonic. I have mine set at one notch below max power with the 47.2 NSA at 1080ish FPS and it hits whatever I aim at.
Any pics of your setup? I'm hankering for something harder hitting than my .177 and .22s

i currently have the challenger pro, and have not bought a 32inch challenger with a reg yet. but i know the weight is the best way to slow down your projectilesinstead of lowering the power level. course anything you aere able to put in the mag is going to have to have the power wheel lowered as well. i will be using 110gr in .301 diameter. and also 130-140gr in .284 just cause i am testing that caliber for that .30 barrel. now anything that can be put in the mag upto 64gr (that is what i have comming in the mail) is gonna fly fast. but no matter what that is a slug gun. it will be difficult to make pellets accurate . and here is pics of my pro challenger .30 which is being sold pretty soon.
