AEA HP carbine power knob wandering from recoil

Hi, just got an AEA hp carbine and the power knobs wanders. After about a mag and a half it will migrate from 12 o’clock to about 8 o’clock . At which point the action won’t cycle. I’ll turn it back to 12 and it works again. Anyone else have this issue?
Also there is no way to tighten it, I notice the older ones have a slot screw on opposite side. This new one doesn’t.

I think there is supposed to be another piece on the opposite side that tightens it down. I can’t tell for sure if yours is just missing the piece or if it’s actually a different design but it looks to me like you mean just need to get the missing part.

You may be able to tell if you watch the YouTube videos that show you how to check the transfer port, and they will show you what it looks like when you remove the part on the opposite side like seems to be the case on your gun

I took mine off for a photo, maybe it will help. Photo's of opposite side of power screw, hole and locking screw. You should be able to push the screw out if it is not locked. Looks like you are missing the power locking screw, or is twisted off inside? Is that a set screw?

Turns out the screw head is busted off. Pellet shop is sending me a new screw… Fortunately the broken stump of the screw came right out… thanks for your input guys!
