So i have a .357 max. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a weird not-issue fill issue. When i fill the gun to anything over 250 bar my shots are only going around 300-400 fps over my chrony. If i fill to 4500psi i can put like 9 full mags at that speed and finally be around the 250 bar mark. When i shoot it at 250 bar or under im slinging 68 gr Hornady .35 round ball at 855fps and get that for about 3 shots then i start dropping about 10 or so fps like normal. Its not really an issue its just weird. An it didn't do that until after i changed the valve seal. Before the valve seal change id fill to 4500 an get 960 with the 68 gr roundball but id drop a steady 15-20 fps every shot. Its not really an issue i dont mind the lower fill but if anyone can tell me whats going on with it that would be much appreciated.

Called a shot curve. Too much air is valve lock. Sounds like it likes to be filled to only 250 bar. Mine was much hotter and I cut 5 coils off my spring.

Im not talking about the shot curve. Its normalish. Has a steady 10 or so fps drop. Im talking about not being able to fill to 4500 now and the massively awkward 9 mags of 300-400 fps going from 4500 to 3500psi after i changed the valve seal. It never did that before the change. Plus i lost about 100 fps overall from highest speed. Never touched the spring or hammer. Only poped out the seal and put the new one in.

Something is not right then. I you adjust the stock at all. I had mine wiggling around so I tightened it and it affected the hammer string a little.
Or, possibility if you took it apart and the transfer port is not perfectly lined up, it would cause this. Something is restricting it's air flow.

Nope never messed with the stock or nothing. Its not really an issue just really weird that its happening. Like i said i dont mind the lower fill. Everything is normal from 250 bar down... Iv reinstalled the seal and still the same thing. Wondering if maybe its changing from the original black seal to tue nee yellowish ones. Probs just gonna figure out the washer thing an put a few washers in it to up the power back to original levels. Anyoneknow what washer size is needed. Utah didn't include washers with mine.

Or is there an easy way to adjust the power on these other than stacking washers behind the spring? I cant seem to find much on how to tune these without cutting springs or added washers

I am going thru the same thing...changed my seal 4500 fill...shoots like a red ryder...after it gets to 3k it opens up...some sort of valve issue is what I want to say...I'm gonna send mine in and find out...last time he rebuilt it it came home a monster at 4500.happy shooting

I have same problem with mine new out of box I added SPACER STILL DOESNT WORKRIGHT did you figure out problem
