AEA/JTS Pellets and Fouling

Very interesting. I've been shooting JTS for 2 years now I think? Through my Evol Mini and then my Vet Long. Now only really the 18gr but fouling as been very minimal on those guns. Both extremely smooth bores with no choke on one and very very light choke on the other. But usually 3-5 patches with Shooters choice lead remover or lately Gunzilla and they are clean. I can't remember the last time I've cleaned my Taipan barrel. Likely 1000-1500 pellets through the bore also. Now I'm no high volume shooter but I likely clean my barrels maybe 2 times a year even with the JTS 18gr. Haven't had great results with the 22gr version so never shoot them but maybe they foul way worse?

Barrel lapping if only running some 400 clover compound on snug patches with a hard rod & round jag tip 20-30 full length strokes ... will help a BUNCH !!
Hard waxing the bore afterwards is my personal approach to the fouling issue.
Is there any place where i can buy less than a pound of the 400 grit clover compound?
I was hoping to find a 2oz jar, but have only seen the 280grit in that size
Thanks
Mike
