AEA just is not good quality ( from my personal experience).

Welp, I wasted $499; I have trouble with the SS hp .25 cal. The bolt rod is stripped because it can not handle itself. I experience jam after jam; my magazines stop functioning properly the second day using it. I feel foolish for paying so much for something I thought would be awesome. Can anybody point me to the right website to get genuine replacement parts?

Although not clear what happened it could be operator error. From what I understand their bolt action is not the easiest to handle and many have to develop their own technique in order to fully open the bolt and keep it there long enough to insert the mag without damaging it. Because of that there is a lot of frustration. I myself have grip issues from all the years as a autotech. It keeps me from considering buying a Aea product. It would be nice if more of their guns were lever action.

Here is an email that I just sent, including pictures; I kept it direct and did not get nasty.

I have to express my thoughts on my product and get some help. I recently purchased an HP SS .25; since I had this airgun, I have had the following issues: Jams, Magazine has no power to cycle, and as pictured in the attachments, The rod to the bolt is stripped; I guess that it strips each time I charge and the rapid-fire, the threads don't handle well. as of now I can not find that rod anywhere, and now I feel like I made a dumb decision. I am considering taking it to New England AirGuns to spend an additional $200 for repairs; however, I should not have to do that; I have only had it for less than a month. I know I am stuck with this product, but I feel that it is ruined, and I lost $ 499, but I am not looking for money; I want my purchase to work.

Next is a question: Does the company carry the rod and the black cylinder piece that is attached and goes with it, which is also ruined ( I will take responsibility for that part) that is attached to the bolt? I will check in again this week, but I feel I won't get the help I am looking for( based on my past experiences with customer service from airgun stores and other places).

Just looking for replacement pieces
Bintac LLC is main us distribution. Start there
I was going to send an email to the company; I will ask for repair if AEA does not want to help; if not, I hope bintac can help. It would be fairly quick; they are dang near up the street from me. ( 45 min drive )

It seems anything air, semi auto has problems sooner than regular pcps. I have had good experience with a few AEA products, they all needed tweaking on something no matter what tho. After the tuning or cleaning, whatever it needs, they do quite well. Bin and company at the pellet shop may be able to help yours get worked out.

In the meantime you can use it as a bolt action. Doing that would probably alleviate any issues you're having with the magazine as well.
A lot of people wish AEA still made the bolt action Sparrow (which your gun basically now). Who knows, maybe you'll like it better this way.
Thanks, yea i will test it out.
