My first impression was only .875 expansion .... that's all. Then I looked again at the Caliper 1.875 WOW that is impressive.

What is the right $. I am looking to by a gun and suppressor shortly, had to find a good used package. How about putting a recoil assembly on the butt? I am a machinist but can't cut anything with wood but splinters.

They aren't easy to find used but they seem to command 900-1000... Add a couple hundred for a can.

Would add weight, but be very cool with recoil management!

For recoil management I've found that the big bores generally perform better and feel better to shoot with aggressive muzzle brakes attached to the front rather than sound moderators. With my testing, the aggressive tanker style muzzle brake has lessened the rearward load the most, but the porting on top creates unwanted barrel down pressure.

There's a lot of air coming out of an unregulated .457 to calm down too, and why those seem to work out for the best. Modified to blow air out evenly on all sides, not pushing the barrel down now.

Excellent. Thanks for the info. What is the best way to quiten it down a bit. Having built items for center fire rifles you get sound and recoil reduction.

Ear muffs. That amount of air is going to happen and make some noise, but way less than you'd think.

What's pretty amazing is that it is gyroscopic and spinning so fast that it cut a perfect "X" in the ballistic gelatin when I tested it. I don't know if links are allowed but I will attach one to the YouTube video.
