Hey Guys,

"JTS Comp100 (Airgun Compressor) FULL REVIEW + SETUP & Maintenance Guide - How to Refill an Airgun!!"

Having spent the last few weeks putting JTS's new Comp100 compressor through some grueling testing, I have to say; I'm thoroughly impressed and can't imagine anyone not loving this thing. What I came away appreciating most is its built in on board converter, its ease of setup, maintenance, and use, its power, and its simplicity & compact size.

* liquid cooled
* AC/DC
* 12v/110v/220v
* 6,200 PSI fills
* auto shut off
* can handle up to 6.8L tanks
* converter is internal
* 30 lbs

It looks suspiciously similar to the GX Pumps CS-4i! Can you remove the cover for a peek inside? Just curious if there are any noticeable differences? I see PA has the JTS listed for $900.00. The CS-4i is $650.00 ($585.00 after 10% discount) on the GX Pumps webpage. Just curious if the extra 400 psi is really worth the added $315.00 cost? Is there any other significant differences?

Yeah, probably the same manufacturing partner. For me, the value lies in the built-in converter that the JTS has and the GX doesn't, not so much the extra performance. I reviewed a compressor once that had the external converter and owning the JTS is soooo much nicer, lol. Hope that helps. Steve

A one year warranty is not long enough if parts aren't available.
For now I pump by hand because once bitten, twice shy.

The regular CS4 has the external converter, the CS-4I that I posted the link to has the built in converter like the JTS. Only difference I see is the max fill pressure. That's why I was curious what the internals looked like, just wondering if the compressor head is more robust to handle the higher pressure?

Interesting, I was just able to order 400 bar burst disks thru GX website. Doesn’t mean I would push things that far, none of my guns exceed 300 bar

So, I have a CS4, it fills to 5800 psi, I don't own an airgun that will fill to 5800 psi (I do have a couple that fill to 5000 psi, but most don't go over 4351 psi), so it seems I already have a 800+ psi buffer. Are there airguns that take more then a 5800 psi fill? 6200 psi fill? 7000 psi fill? Just wondering why I'd need a compressor that will fill to more than 5800 psi?

Steve you make great videos. The video is great I know you’ve been hired to show the product so on that great job. Everything we’re saying is not directed at you. You seem like a cool dude. Sorry we’re a little more informed than the manufacturers think. No amount of sugar coating can break through years of BS from manufacturers. We all know it’s just an overpriced GX.

Thanks Steve, as always, a great review with useful information and no filler.
Although my Air Venturi 4500 and Nomad are still functioning 100%, this very compressor would be their replacement based on your review. It has all the features I would expect at this stage of maturity for the equipment. We appreciate all you do, and you do it well.

Call me "old school " but I can't justify spending close to $1k for an oil free compressor. I'm on my 3rd compressor and waiting for it to die any day now. I've been keeping it running by disassembling it every 2 weeks and lubing the piston and valves with Mobil 1 synthetic.
Well, for the amount of shooting my wife and I do I really should have a heavier duty unit. But the bigger units that require oil and water are less money.
Then, there's the warranty. Trying to get parts can be a pain. It shouldn't matter how much it gets used during the warranty period, keep us happy and shooting. Not saying AEA would be the same as many other companies but I have learned a valuable lesson from my experiences.
