I thought I would leave a quick impression after installing this chassis. These have been on sale at Utah for less than half price at $200.00. You get to choose between black and FDE Magpul AK grips on purchase but could use any AK grips. Installation was easy enough but you need to have some very small punches as you need to transfer the pin retained trigger components. The chassis requires a longer trigger rod connector than the factory stock. The supplied connector has a flat side the factory connector does not. A message to Utah Airguns yielded an immediate response that the flat side faces the action, I didn’t want to wear the pin holes with trial and error. Other than that installation without instructions was straight forward after you realize that the chassis is disassembled and built back up on the action. After firing a couple mags I really appreciate the adjustability of the butt pad and would consider the balance perfect. In all honesty I bought it because I find the standard stock looks to me a little 10 years ago, that said I was pleasantly surprised by real ergonomic improvements.
