I'm trying to spread the addiction to the family and am in the process of handing my children (adults) a few guns.

My daughter is patient & thinks things through, so I gave her the Flash Pup. Nice & cheap little bolt action. But it requires not ram-assing pellets into the breech to function and and is a bit quirky.

My other kid is not so much. He somehow has superhuman abilities when it comes to accidentally breaking things. It's 100% unintentional & I still love despite it.

Ulterior motives aside, I'm sending him a Talon P. I can't think of an air gun that would be anymore appropriate for someone like him. He's got plenty of real gun and air tool experience, so the AF line is as about as good a compromise as I could think of.

Good enough call?

Sounds like a plan

Well, they are simple and don't seem to break very easy (able to break an anvil with a rubber mallet). My Talon SS I've taken from non working $100 gun to throwing Apolo Monster 25.4gr at 1080FPS and over 90J. Backed that off and running 970FPS and 70J right now. Of course I've invested WAY too much money in this rifle. Current configuration is about 100 + 650 in parts. There is a 2nd configuration of another $200 in parts.

Didn't know much about the AirForce platform so I've been diving down the various paths. Heavy hammer, heavy spring, high flow valve, 19" barrel, 1.1L bottle, Huben Cricket Z-Valve and Huben Cricket Max-ATH. The latter having a 50cc plenum which at 3000psi fires the above.

Now i need the 19 or 24" .25 barrel
