(Affordable) Airguns are About to Disappear

There are American, Turkish airgun makers who've demonstrated that decent quality entry or mid-level airguns don't have to be made in China.

I'm extremely pleased to see a restructuring of trade balances and alliances which may serve to greatly weaken the CCP. We all like to pretend the cheap Chinese stuff we buy isn't made by slave labor. In many cases, it actually is slave labor.

This should have happened a long time ago but better late than never.

That video is one heck-of-a rant
Although I do like the way he makes the word tariffs sound like terrorists.
But, to the point
IMO he's failed to consider how well-endowed the airgun industry in the US will be when the tariffs drive the best international air gun brands to open factories here in the states.
What a bonus

just my too cents

That's not how tariffs have ever worked.
Look up Smoot-Hawley.
Import prices go up
Domestic prices go up to match.

Of course they can implement Nixonian price controls.

Also ignores source materials which are imported and subject to tariffs.
