I knew my scandalous 257 was dead. It didn’t hold air.
My 251 scandalous would not caulk anymore.
my Air Force, which has always held air….When I went to fill it, the top of the gauge flew across the room. Not good. Does anyone know if I could go to the local hardware store and just find a plug, to replace the air gauge? Is that a tapered screw? I don’t need a gauge, I will tether everything anyway on a rifle like this. How do I tell if it’s a 257 or 253? It’s a 24 inch stainless steel barrel.
I tried putting the trigger from the 257 on the 251, no go.
Last ditch effort, I tried blasting some air into the scandalous 257 after replacing the trigger, sometimes you can blow gaskets back into place, long shot, it worked, stay tuned. I wonder if I have any appropriate bullets? I shot it outside. It sounds like a 357 magnum. I’ve never shot it because it leaked when I bought it a half a dozen years ago.
