AGT - Vulcan 2 , A Sleeper Amongst Giants

@elbowgrease and everyone in general how would you say your Vulcans are as a stalking gun? My sniper days are past me. I like up close and personal, but don’t take it personally starlings “its just business.”

Great air gun for stalking. Compact and well balanced. Another nice thing is that the barrel is not one of those flimsy free floating setups. That thing can take a good amount of being knocked around if moving through some thick brush and the like. Not to heavy, I think its around 7 pounds without a scope or bi-pod. Put something small for optics and your good to go. If your in the bush I personally would not bother with an addon suppressor. I do use one around the house and it helps a lot. Thought the air gun is not to loud without the added suppression.

Those are pretty nice there Mike. I still have a sample of them you sent me a while back. The problem is I don’t have a high power .25 to shoot slugs anymore. I’m waiting for the perfect rifle in this caliber. Right now I’m thinking about an HM1000x I really like the set and shoot type air rifles .

Those are awfully fine guns Denis! Love the RAW's

Set and shoot sometimes bores me. But after adding the Huma, I had plenty of work cut out for me to fully tune. wouldn't ya know it, the Chrony died. GRRRRRR!😂

I wonder if AGT would sell you a kit. BBl. probe and mag. Wouldn't hurt to ask?

Oddly, I didn't want another .25, I wanted a .22 for my special slugs. or a .30 in a pinch. It is all I could find at the time. GRRRR! Now I'm glad I got the .25 as I have several molds and so far, every slug I have tested from them works and works well. From a choked bbl no ness. That's a new one on me. I've never had any much with choked bbl's and slug's always having to remove the chokes. But this one is ultra lightly choked.

The .30's aren't choked and I would have felt more confident in that cal. But it all seems to have worked out for the better. I am contacting the factory seeing if a .22 set up is possible for it.

Just curious, does anyone think the Vulcan 2 would be a gun worth getting in .177? I am thinking CZ barrel and slug shooter, I just can't get past the idea of how cool a properly tuned .177 slug shooter would be in the field.

This is my Vulcan 2 in .177 but I'm in the UK so it's sub-12ftlbs and slugs wouldn't really be a good idea. 😉
