Air-Arms Pro Elite 22

Hi all. I am looking for information in order to sell some air rifles that belong to my father. He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and isn’t able to give me any information about them or values. One of them I am looking to value and sell is an Air-Arms Pro Elite with a scope. Husband believes it is walnut stock. Not finding much about it online. Anyone familiar with the brand and today’s market value? TIA.

One with a custom stock just sold for $625 recently. Here is the link below.

It is in some cases but not always. The one that just sold was in a custom stock and in amazing shape and given who was selling it was probably immaculately tuned. Factor in that it can cost upwards of $60 to ship, $400 $475 + shipping seems about right for an assumed bone stock one.

That being said, I paid signifigantly more than BB for a 55 Tyro not long ago. If you find the right buyer the sky is the limit. Blue Book is still a good starting point though.

As mentioned, several /numerous recent sales... well above even the 100% valuation of the Blue Book. I keep records of them, if in fact it's walnut (only 57 were produced) the value increase could be a fair amount higher than what the Blue Book does not even mention or account for.
I'm not disagreeing with you at all really. You of all people would know better than I do. Out of curiosity and because its pertinent to the post, what did the last few go for? Beech or walnut.

If it’s walnut stock it’s either aftermarket. Or one of the few rare custom ones they did. Is it Engraved?
If so it’s extremely valuable as they made 52 of those. . If it’s beech with factory stock the gun should fetch no less than $700 .. Do not let anyone soft sell you less… they only made 1400 total of the guns and only 900 were sent here to the USA.

DO you have any pictures.. pictures would tell the story.

I’ve uploaded some photos. Keep in mind that it hasn’t been handled or had a clean in 20 years.
What you have is a standard Pro Elite.. it’s beech stock and from the looks not in bad shape at all.. the action could use a Flitz
polish and it will be Much better.. it’s a gun of more value than the average spring gun.

If it’s anything like the pro Elites I own, and it sat for as long as you’ve said I’m sure the seals need to be replaced and some of the internal lubrication has dried up.. I would be hesitant to shoot it. That being said after some refreshing it will be fine nothing is destroyed by sitting. The gun should fetch as I stated anywhere from the very low end $500 to the higher end around $ 700+ In auction on Fle bay..
I’m sure there’s many here that have probably already contacted you with offers. I think your best bet would be auction unless you just want a fast sale. Do not take less than $600.. Time is your friend.

great guns in the right hands as they need special care.

Besides the 52 walnut & engraved guns you mention there were 57 walnut stock guns with nothing else custom straight from AA. I mention this a few posts up ☝️
